Jena started working in the dental industry in 1995, when she was in high school, as a dental assistant. She instantly found dentistry fascinating and knew that this was what she wanted to do in life. Over the years she has performed a variety of duties starting with dental assisting, then obtaining her CDA, working the front desk and then earning her dental hygiene degree in 2004 from Wayne County Community College. She has also helped teach dental auxiliaries the radiography and prepare them to safely take diagnostic images on patients.
She loves helping and educating patients with their dental needs. She knows that listening to individuals is the key to understanding what they want and need in there smile. Jena is proud to say her primary mission is to make the patients feel relaxed, comfortable, and calm and any fears that they may have.
In her spare time Jena enjoy staying active with many activities such as running, cycling, triathlon and cross country skiing. When Jena is not out cycling she enjoys relaxing with her husband and son and of course her Great Dane (Katie) and kitten (Brad).
