Dr. Saloni Sharma, D.D.S
Dr. Sharma leads clinical teams at both Provident Dentistry locations. She is a highly experienced dentist who enjoys building lifelong relationships with her patients and staff. She practices all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry, including implant restorations. During recent years, Dr. Sharma integrated sleep apnea diagnosis and treatment methods into the dental practice.
Dr. Sharma received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (D.D.S.) from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2000, and her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree (B.D.S.) from Karnataka University in India in 1994. Dr. Sharma is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, and the Oakland County Dental Society.

Dr. Chelsea Tremonti
Dr. Tremonti has been part of Provident Dentistry since 2021 and provides wide variety of services from essential procedures to cosmetic dentistry and Invisalign. She is a dedicated professional and brings a warm and friendly demeanor thus earning trust and loyalty of all her patients. She received her DDS degree from the University of Detroit Mercy and BS in Biological Sciences and Psychology from University of Michigan-Dearborn.
Dr. Sara Makki, D.D.S
Dr. Sara Makki is a Michigan native and earned her doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Detroit Mercy. Upon graduating in 2021, she moved to the Boston area and worked in private practice at two locations. She quickly developed expertise in a wide range of dental procedures by working closely with several providers and a large patient population. In Boston, she served a diverse patient demographic, from young adults in the city to senior citizens in the Boston suburbs, each having very different dental needs and goals. After her marriage to another Michigander, she knew it was time to come back home. We are excited to welcome Dr. Makki to the Provident team!
As a general dentist, Dr. Makki brings top-notch experience in all aspects of dentistry, including but not limited to, fillings, crowns, dentures, extractions, root canal, emergency care. She is also passionate about cosmetic dentistry and clear aligners to help improve self-confidence of her patients. Dr. Makki is further certified in the injection of Botox for both TMJ and cosmetic purposes. She strives each day to deliver exceptional and comfortable experiences to every patient, and works with them individually to realize their long-term oral health goals.

Dr. Alan Kessler, D.D.S
Dr. Kessler is celebrating over 44 years of service to our local community. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) in 1974 and Bachelors in Math and Science in 1969, both from the University of Michigan. Early in his career, Dr. Kessler spent a year in residency at Sinai Hospital in Detroit with a focus on general dentistry. Dr. Kessler is retiring from dentistry side of the clinic, however he will continue to serve in a new capacity as leader of the Sleep Disorder Clinic. You may occasionally meet him doing exams as well.
Dr. Kessler is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and he provides an array of general dental services, as well as implant restorations and Orthodontics. Dr. Anjali Batra is a GPR-trained general dentist dedicated to delivering compassionate, comprehensive care to patients of all ages. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree summa cum laude from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, followed by a General Practice Residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her advanced training included treating medically complex and special needs patients in both hospital and outpatient settings, performing surgical extractions including third molars, full-mouth rehabilitations, and managing dental trauma and infections.

Dr. Milad Karim is an accomplished general dentist with extensive experience in restorative, surgical, and cosmetic dentistry. He received his DDS degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Dr. Karim also holds a Master of Science in Basic Medical Sciences and a Bachelor of Science from Wayne State University.
Dr. Karim provides comprehensive dental care, including molar endodontics, extractions, crowns, bridges, implant restorations, and full and partial dentures. He is skilled in advanced procedures such as CEREC same-day crowns, third molar extractions, and guided and freehand dental implant surgery. Certified in Invisalign, he incorporates both digital and traditional techniques to deliver personalized treatment plans for his patients.
In addition to working part-time (Mon and Tues) at Provident, Dr. Karim practices at his own private practice in White Lake. Sara graduated from Ferris State University Dental Hygiene School in 1989. She moved to the Detroit area from St. Joseph, Michigan in 1995. She met her husband three weeks later and has resided in Farmington Hills for the last several years. Together they have a dog named Henry and enjoy renovating their historical home.
Sara has worked at Provident Dentistry since 1997 and has enjoyed seeing how much the practice has grown over the years. Sara likes meeting new patients, but she especially enjoys seeing her patients that have been coming to her for many years.

Amanda graduated from Schoolcraft College with an associate’s degree in Health Sciences. She then got her dental hygiene degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2013. Since she graduated, Amanda has been working at Provident Dentistry.
Amanda has loved every minute of working in dentistry and has come across some amazing people. Provident Dentistry is a second home to her. She is inspired by everyone’s drive and believes that is the only way to run a successful practice. Amanda provides 100 percent excellent care by treating patients equally and always goes the extra mile to make sure they are comfortable.

Olivia has worked in the dental field for 12 years and has been a hygienist since 2017. She graduated with her bachelor’s in dental hygiene from the University of Michigan. Go Blue! Olivia strives to care for her patients like family and loves making appointments easy, fun, and comfortable. She grew up in West Bloomfield, MI and now lives in Farmington Hills.
In her free time, you can find Olivia spending time with her family and her dog, Noodle. She also loves to read, travel, and be outdoors, hunting and fishing.

Tiffanie graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program at Oakland Community
College in the spring of 2021 and began working at Provident in the Fall of

helpfulness of her coworkers and how everyone works as a team to
achieve office goals and provide excellent service to our patients. Her

Mary Beth, RDH
Mary Beth (aka MB) joined the Provident Dentistry team in 2024, although she has been in the dental field most of her life. At age 14 she began working at her family dentist’s office, starting with sterilization, then working her way up to assistant, front desk, and eventually becoming a licensed hygienist. Mary Beth loves to help and educate others, as well as bond with her patients while they’re under her care. Because of her outgoing and warm personality, her patients have become like family over the years. She brings a wide array of skills to our practice and is certified in nitrous oxide and local anesthesia. As her son would say, “She’s an expert in everything!”
MB grew up in Dearborn Heights, but now calls Livonia home. In her free time she loves to spend time Up North, and do as much as possible with her son. Family is the most important to Mary Beth, but she also loves Fall and Halloween, being a Hockey Mom, and hosting people at her house for gatherings.

Jennifer graduated with her hygiene degree from the University of Michigan in 2001, and comes to Provident with over 20 years of experience. She is currently temping at our practice on a part-time basis until the end of July. We are grateful for her help and for the high level of care that she is providing to our beloved patients!
Gianna, RDH
Gianna is originally fro West Bloomfield, MI, and is a spring 2023 graduate from Oakland Community College’s Dental Hygiene program. She always knew she wanted to be a dental hygienist from a young age and decided to pursue it as a career. Her goal as a hygienist is to provide gentle care in a comfortable patient-centered environment. Gianna says that her favorite thing about hygiene is building relationships with her patients.

Bridget RDH
Bridget received her dental hygiene degree from Oakland Community College in 2021. Her love for dentistry started when she became a certified dental assistant in 2015, assisting in orthodontics. Bridget’s favorite thing about working in dentistry is educating patients and changing their mindset on how important oral health really is and making every patient feel welcomed and never judged. When Bridget’s not working she’s making memories with her husband, son and dog. Activities include golf, exercise, and vacationing.

Kim has been in the dental industry for 43 years. She was introduced to dentistry in high school when she began chairside dental assisting and went on to Henry Ford Community College to obtain a Business Degree. Having an interest in technological advancements, she earned her certificate in Radiology and CEREC (level 1- 4).
Being an employee of Provident Dentistry for 19 years, Kim has had the opportunity to watch the practice grow to what it is today – a state of the art dental practice. She truly enjoys working on the CEREC and designs every inlay, onlay, crown, and veneer as if it were going into her or her family members’ mouths.
She enjoys quality family time, especially vacations, with her husband and four adult children. She loves taking care of her pets – two dogs and a cat, and finds relaxation in fishing, scrapbooking, and knitting.

Brooke recently started working in the dental field. She makes sure to greet everyone with a smile when they walk through our doors. Her goal is to make each patient feel comfortable and stress-free during their appointment. She is a current college student at Oakland University, working towards getting a degree in Health Administration.

Lindsey
Lindsey joined the Provident Dentistry team in the Spring of 2021. She ultimately chose to work at the practice because she wanted to gain experience in some sort of medical setting and decided to give dentistry a shot. Lindsey grew up in Livonia and is very happy to have found an opportunity so close to her home because she likes to sleep in as much as possible before heading in to work (haha).

Saara was born in Sweden and has been in the dental field since 2018. Before moving to the United States, she attended the University of Lund where she studied Language. She is proficient in Spanish, Italian, Danish and of course, Swedish and English! She is certified in CPR-Basic life Support and Radiography. Saara’s favorite part about working as a Dental Assistant is getting to know the patients and making them feel comfortable in the chair.

SUNIL THAKUR, BUSINESS DIRECTOR
Sunil has been fortunate to be part of Provident Dentistry since 2013. Together with his wife, Dr. Sharma, he shares a vision to create one of the top dental practices not only in Michigan but in the entire industry. His main focus is working with the entire team to provide an exceptional patient experience and drive continuous improvement in all business functions at Provident Dentistry. Sunil’s prior experience includes digital media, electronics, and medical device manufacturing. Sunil received his MBA from Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, where he also served as the President of the Student Government. He was trained as a mechanical engineer and received a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and Bachelors from BIT Sindri in Ranchi University, India. Sunil is the resident photographer and his work is displayed all around the office in both Novi and Plymouth locations.
LINDSEY, BILLING & INSURANCE COORDINATOR
Lindsey has worked in the dental field since 2001. She has spent time working as a dental assistant and in different roles at the front desk. She found her niche in dental insurance billing in 2008. She enjoys working with both insurance companies and patients. She is always happy to help with any questions or concerns.
Outside of her career, Lindsey is the mom of two teenagers and two dogs. In her free time she enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors.

LISA, SENIOR TREATMENT COORDINATOR
Lisa has been working in the dental field for almost 20 years, starting as a dental hygiene assistant in high school. She continued to work in the dental field while obtaining her Bachelors from Madonna University. After graduating in 2008 and with many years of experience in the dental field, Lisa decided to stay within the industry. Lisa has worked in many aspects in dentistry and continued to do so when she joined Provident Dentistry in 2016. She currently supports the office remotely.
In her spare time, Lisa enjoys spending her time with her husband and son, family and friends. She also loves to do DIY projects and spend time outdoors.

WHITNEY, TREATMENT COORDINATOR
If you have recently visited Provident Dentistry, most likely you have been greeted with a big smile from Whitney. Her passion is connecting with patients and she wants them to feel comfortable and confident in the treatment they are receiving. She always welcomes any questions or concerns that patients may have regarding insurance or treatment.
When Whitney is not in the office you may find her traveling with her husband and daughters. As a family they love to ski in the winter and frequent Michigan’s beautiful lakes in the summer.

Dakota grew up in Erie, Pennsylvania, and went to school at Ohio University. She was a pre-dental major but slowly transitioned into a Psychology major. She always had a love and passion for dentistry and even though the clinical side wasn’t for her, Dakota still enjoyed helping patients with their dental needs and goals and thus transitioned into this role.

ALLI, HYGIENE COORDINATOR
Alli has been in the dental field for over 5 years. She has an unyielding passion for patient advocacy. She strives to make all patients feel comfortable and informed. In addition, she has pride for her workplace environment and colleagues. She loves to laugh, and her sense of humor brings light to all patient interactions.
Outside of the office, Alli loves spending time with her sassy dog (Fiona) and cat (Sawyer). Alli is a new homeowner, and enjoys decorating and shopping (sometimes too much) for her house. When not at work or home, she is off on adventures with her friends and family.

Sierra grew up and went to school in Milford, MI. She decided to work in the dental field after she finished her braces treatment, because she wanted to help bring others confidence in their smile. Sierra’s favorite thing about working at Provident Dentistry is getting to know the patients and having fun with her coworkers.
In her free time she enjoys watching Netflix, playing with her kitties, and hanging out with friends.
